About the Role

Reime West Africa Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of a prominent global telecommunications infrastructure provider headquartered in Casablanca, Morocco, is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Fiber Optic Project Manager. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the strategic roadmap, operational excellence, and large-scale rollout of fiber optic networks across Nigeria, ensuring alignment with our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for our fiber optics service business, aligning with company objectives and telecom market trends.
  • Oversee all operational aspects of OSP/ISP FTTH projects, including planning, design, deployment, and maintenance of robust fiber networks.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers, technicians, and project managers to foster an empowered and engaged workforce.
  • Implement best practices, quality assurance protocols, and rigorous safety standards to guarantee network reliability and performance.
  • Manage multiple contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to strict project budgets.
  • Evaluate project requirements, coordinate resource allocation, and track developmental needs and performance metrics across the department.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP or PRINCE2).
  • 10 to 15 years of extensive fiber management experience handling large, highly complex OSP/ISP FTTH projects.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in fiber optic cable installation (underground and overhead), site surveys, and GIS planning tools.
  • Proficiency in utilizing optical fiber test equipment, advanced network operations, commissioning, and fault location.
  • Exceptional contract management, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
