About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building an innovative financial ecosystem for businesses. We are establishing flagship innovation hubs at three prominent Nigerian universities: Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU). These cross-disciplinary hubs will cultivate job-ready technical talent in software engineering, AI, product development, data science, robotics, and design.
Key Responsibilities- Design the complete operating model for all three university hubs from the ground up, establishing cohort structures, curriculum sequencing, and certification standards.
- Manage critical institutional relationships with Vice-Chancellors, deans, faculty leads, and student bodies across OAU, UNN, and ABU.
- Build and lead a robust industry mentorship and recruitment pipeline connecting students with top engineers, product leaders, and founders.
- Oversee physical infrastructure, vendor relationships, hub-level budgets, and recruit high-performing on-ground operations and facilitation teams.
- Establish rigorous metrics for graduate output, job placement, and employer satisfaction to ensure world-class program delivery.
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles managing end-to-end programs, large teams, and substantial budgets.
- Proven track record of building or scaling technical training or workforce development initiatives from zero to one.
- Deep understanding of Nigerian higher education administration and strong stakeholder management capabilities across academia and industry.
- Technical fluency in modern software engineering, AI, product, and data science education requirements.
