About the Role
The Borough Lagos is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead day-to-day business operations for Youtopia Beauty. In this critical role, you will ensure seamless coordination across retail operations, inventory management, supply chain, sales support, logistics, and customer experience while driving efficiency and supporting strategic business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily business operations across retail, warehouse, and administrative functions to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Manage comprehensive inventory processes, including stock monitoring, cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate procurement activities, supplier relationships, and stock replenishment to maintain optimal product availability.
- Supervise order fulfillment, logistics, and delivery operations for timely and accurate customer order processing.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and identify operational improvements to drive revenue growth.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust operational policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare detailed operational, inventory, and performance reports for executive leadership.
- Lead, coach, and manage operations and retail teams to foster high performance, collaboration, and accountability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and customer service departments to elevate customer experience.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and operational best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in operations management within the beauty, cosmetics, skincare, fashion, retail, or FMCG sector.
- Strong expertise in retail operations, inventory control, supply chain management, procurement, and logistics.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and driving continuous operational improvement.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern inventory management or ERP software.
