About the Role
Fashion Escalate Academy is a premier, award-winning Nigerian fashion institute dedicated to transforming aspiring designers into globally competitive professionals. Since our establishment, we have successfully trained hundreds of students across our branches, fostering creativity, technical excellence, and industry readiness. We are currently expanding our academic team and looking for passionate, skilled, and dedicated Fashion Tutors to join our dynamic faculty across our Berger, Isheri, and Magodo Phase 1 locations in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, high-quality theoretical and practical lessons in fashion design, pattern drafting, and garment construction.
- Guide students through hands-on sewing projects, ensuring adherence to international quality standards and safety protocols.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer extra support to learners who need additional guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with contemporary fashion trends, modern techniques, and industry advancements to keep the curriculum relevant.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and accommodating learning environment that encourages creativity and student confidence.
- Collaborate with fellow academy staff to develop innovative teaching materials and coordinate student fashion exhibitions and projects.
- Possession of an NCE, B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), M.Ed., or M.Sc. (Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated expertise and strong practical skills in advanced pattern drafting techniques and garment construction.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and instructional abilities with a natural aptitude for mentoring.
- High level of patience, adaptability, and readiness to learn new fashion production techniques quickly.
- Must be available to work on a full-time, onsite basis at our Lagos campuses (Berger, Isheri, or Magodo Phase 1).
