About the Role
Cyra Fashion Academy is a premier vocational training institution dedicated to cultivating elite fashion designers and creative entrepreneurs. Based in Ota, Ogun State, we deliver an intensive, hands-on curriculum that bridges the gap between artistic garment production and commercial business execution. We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Fashion School Tutor to join our dynamic team and inspire the next generation of fashion industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, practical lessons in pattern drafting, sewing techniques, garment construction, and fashion illustration.
- Guide students through hands-on studio projects from initial design concepts to finished commercial pieces.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
- Integrate modern fashion business principles and trends into the daily instructional curriculum.
- Maintain workshop standards and ensure proper usage of industrial sewing equipment and tools.
- Proven professional experience in fashion design, tailoring, or vocational instruction.
- In-depth technical knowledge of pattern making, garment construction, and textile science.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentorship skills with a passion for teaching.
- Relevant certification or degree in Fashion Design or a related field is an added advantage.
- Ability to translate creative designs into clear, step-by-step instructional modules.
