About the Role
S-TEE Schools, established in September 1978 by Madam S. T. Lawal with a steadfast goal to develop human capital, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Fashion Design & Garment Making Teacher. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the creative abilities of our students, equipping them with practical industry skills, and fostering a deep appreciation for vocational arts within a supportive academic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop in each student a strong interest, understanding, and practical utilization of knowledge in Fashion Design and Garment Making.
- Deliver engaging, coherent, and motivating lessons utilizing modern learning technology across various classes.
- Coordinate the selection and development of appropriate syllabi, courses, and resources aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Maintain full, accurate records of student achievements and provide relevant, up-to-date academic advice and support.
- Plan for, provide, and maintain physical resources, equipment, and learning materials necessary for effective syllabus delivery.
- Stay current with curriculum changes and reforms while actively participating in broader departmental and school-wide activities.
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD).
- At least 3 years of proven teaching experience in Fashion Design and Garment Making.
- Strong practical knowledge and demonstrated skills in delivering interactive vocational lessons to students.
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology to enhance the teaching and learning process.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
