About the Role
Aldelano Organic Foods is the newest innovation in clean green farming, offering hydroponically grown, organic greenhouse produce that delivers superior quality and taste compared to traditional farming methods. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Farm Inventory and Harvest Record Officer to manage inventory across our three farm locations and maintain accurate records of all harvested produce. In this hybrid role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring operational efficiency, accurate record-keeping, and seamless coordination between our farm operations and accounting department.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and record farm inputs, tools, equipment, and general inventory across all three farm locations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date harvest records, tracking quantities harvested from each specific farm, section, and greenhouse.
- Reconcile inventory received, issued, and remaining in stock to prevent discrepancies.
- Submit regular, detailed inventory and harvest reports directly to the Accounting Manager.
- Collaborate closely with farm managers and harvest teams to verify production and stock records.
- Assist with monitoring pepper production and supporting other daily farm operations as needed.
- Perform additional administrative and operational duties assigned by management.
- Practical experience in pepper cultivation, with a strong focus on bell peppers and habanero peppers.
- Good understanding of pepper harvesting, grading, post-harvest handling, and agricultural production records.
- Strong organizational, numerical, and meticulous record-keeping skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data entry and reporting.
- High level of trustworthiness, accuracy, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous professional experience in farm inventory management, accounting support, or agricultural administration is an added advantage.
