About the Role

This role offers hands-on experience in modern aquaculture practices with daily opportunities to develop your skills in a dynamic agricultural environment.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, count, and record incoming fish seedlings, maintaining accurate stock documentation
- Monitor fish growth, survival rates, and health status on a daily basis
- Grade and sort seedlings by size to ensure uniform development across ponds
- Administer feeds according to approved schedules and monitor feeding response
- Observe fish daily for signs of disease, stress, or mortality and report concerns immediately
- Assist in harvesting activities, carefully handling fish to minimize stress and losses
- Clean and maintain ponds, tanks, vats, pipes, and farm equipment in optimal condition
- Monitor water quality, drainage systems, and maintain proper water supply
- Maintain comprehensive daily records including stocking, mortality, feed usage, and harvest data
- Uphold biosecurity protocols and farm safety procedures
- Minimum SSCE or OND qualification (Agriculture or related field preferred)
- Prior fish farming experience is highly advantageous
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varied conditions
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
- Excellent teamwork and instruction-following skills
