About the Role
TeamAce Limited is partnering with a leading manufacturing client to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Factory Operations Manager for their facility in Sango, Ogun State. In this pivotal leadership role, you will provide comprehensive strategic and operational oversight across production, engineering, maintenance, utilities, facilities, quality assurance, HSE, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective plant operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end production planning, resource allocation, and KPI monitoring to consistently achieve output, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs, machinery reliability, spare parts inventory, and automation upgrade projects.
- Oversee factory utilities, infrastructure, facility expansions, and contractor management for optimized workflow operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, regulatory standards, and comprehensive quality traceability.
- Drive a robust Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture, enforcing PPE compliance, conducting accident investigations, and targeting zero lost-time incidents.
- Manage operational budgets, manufacturing costs, and CAPEX investments while mentoring cross-functional teams to foster continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive manufacturing experience, preferably within the FMCG or food processing sectors.
- At least 5 years serving in a senior Operations, Plant Management, or Manufacturing leadership capacity.
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification in Operations Management is a strong advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Project Management, or HSE are highly desirable.
