About the Role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is partnering with a prominent manufacturing client to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Factory Operations Manager. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee end-to-end plant operations, drive production efficiency, and ensure the highest standards of product quality and workplace safety within the construction chemicals and building materials sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee all factory operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational objectives are seamlessly achieved.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, improve process efficiency, and optimize manufacturing costs.
- Oversee production planning, inventory management, and resource allocation to guarantee uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize operational downtime.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), quality, and regulatory standards across the entire plant.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to foster a high-performance culture.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification serves as a distinct professional advantage.
- 8 to 10 years of total experience in manufacturing, specifically within the construction or chemical industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a senior factory, plant, or operations management role.
- Strong expertise in production planning, process manufacturing, industrial automation, quality management systems, and plant maintenance.
