About the Role
Cornerstone Montessori Schools is one of the leading Montessori institutions in Nigeria, providing a prepared, well-defined environment that fosters the natural development of children. We are currently seeking a proactive, highly observant, and detail-oriented Facility Officer to join our dynamic team and ensure our campus remains safe, functional, and conducive to discovery learning.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections of classrooms, offices, playgrounds, and school facilities to identify faults, hazards, and maintenance needs early.
- Supervise artisans, cleaners, security personnel, and maintenance contractors to ensure high service standards.
- Oversee the maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, generators, water systems, and school buses.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspection reports, and facility inventories.
- Manage urgent maintenance issues promptly while upholding strict health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Facilities Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in facility management within a school, office, residential, or similar environment.
- Relevant technical or professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong supervisory, problem-solving, and communication skills with uncompromising integrity.
