About the Role
Masterpiece Schools is a reputable private Christian educational institution located in Lagos, Nigeria. Founded in 2011, we provide comprehensive nursery, primary, and college-level education with a strong emphasis on academic excellence and sound moral values. We are currently seeking passionate and qualified Primary Teachers to join our dynamic team of educators and contribute to the holistic development of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging primary school lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian and British curricula.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and positive behavior.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Integrate sound Christian values and principles into daily classroom activities and interactions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to plan school events, extracurricular activities, and curriculum improvements.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and participate in regular staff meetings and professional development workshops.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc with PGDE, NCE, or other relevant academic qualifications in education.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience within a recognized primary school setting.
- Strong passion for teaching and nurturing children with patience and empathy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A strong moral character aligned with the Christian values and ethos of Masterpiece Schools.
- Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and basic educational technology.
