About the Role
People Capacity Management, a leading human resources and management consulting firm in Lagos, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Facility Manager to oversee our short-let operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining high standards of property presentation, safety, and operational efficiency, ensuring that every guest enjoys a seamless and comfortable stay in a pristine environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, encompassing comprehensive cleaning, routine maintenance, inventory management, security protocols, and safety compliance.
- Develop and implement proactive maintenance and repair schedules to guarantee all equipment, amenities, and building systems remain in optimal working condition.
- Manage operational budgets efficiently for maintenance, urgent repairs, and capital improvements, ensuring properties are properly upgraded and maintained within financial constraints.
- Collaborate closely with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to streamline administrative paperwork, guest coordination, and workflow processes.
- Liaise effectively with external suppliers, contractors, and vendors to manage purchase orders, service invoices, and timely project delivery within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Estate Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience, with specific and proven expertise in managing short-let apartments or hospitality facilities.
- Must currently reside in Lekki or its immediate environs to ensure prompt response times.
- Comprehensive understanding of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical installations, and modern security systems.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with employees, contractors, and discerning guests.
