About the Role
Alpha Mead Group is a leading Total Real Estate Solutions Company operating in over 10 African countries and certified to international standards. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Facility Manager to oversee our operations in Damaturu. In this critical role, you will ensure our infrastructure operates at peak performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, maintenance programmes, and building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Supervise and evaluate vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including conducting routine risk assessments.
- Prepare and manage facility maintenance budgets, monitor operational expenditures, and maintain an accurate inventory of assets.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and implement timely corrective actions for identified maintenance issues.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Engineering, Estate Management, Facility Management, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role managing commercial or institutional facilities.
- Relevant professional certifications in Facility Management, Engineering, Health & Safety, or Project Management are a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated experience working in remote or challenging operational environments.
