About the Role
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading international humanitarian organization dedicated to supporting conflict-affected populations across the globe. In Nigeria, DRC is seeking comprehensive proposals from qualified and experienced Health Maintenance Organisations (HMOs) for the provision of robust National Staff Health Insurance Services under tender reference NGA-RFP-014-26.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected HMO will be tasked with delivering accessible, high-quality, and cost-effective healthcare solutions for all DRC national employees across Nigeria. Key operational duties include:
- Providing seamless, equitable healthcare access through a wide network of accredited medical facilities nationwide.
- Managing comprehensive staff health insurance coverage with efficient administration.
- Delivering responsive, dedicated customer support to address employee medical inquiries.
- Ensuring prompt and transparent medical claims processing and grievance resolution.
Interested Health Maintenance Organisations must meet specific administrative, technical, and financial criteria to qualify for this tender:
- Must be a duly registered and licensed HMO operating within Nigeria with verifiable industry experience.
- Demonstrated robust geographical coverage and network strength of accredited healthcare providers across Nigeria.
- Proven capacity to manage large-scale humanitarian or corporate health insurance portfolios effectively.
- Submission of complete technical and financial proposals in strict accordance with DRC RFP guidelines (Annex A1 and Annex A2).
