About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Category Specialist / Category Buyer to join our procurement team and drive value-driven operations aligned with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head of Category Management in executing comprehensive category strategies and sourcing plans.
- Conduct end-to-end sourcing events including RFI, RFQ, and RFP while ensuring transparent documentation.
- Manage day-to-day supplier interactions, monitor SLA adherence, and track supplier performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with procurement policies, internal governance, and contract terms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into efficient procurement requirements.
- Analyze spend data, monitor market trends, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering.
- Ensure all suppliers comply with relevant health, safety, environment (HSE), and ESG standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 8 years of proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM will be a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, advanced Excel, and e-sourcing tools.
- Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills, high integrity, and exceptional attention to detail.
