About the Role
Wellspring College is a model institution dedicated to raising educational standards and fostering sound moral values in young minds. We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and optimal functionality of all college facilities, assets, and infrastructure. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting institutional resources and providing a pristine, safe, and inspiring environment that supports academic and holistic student development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive oversight of college buildings, furniture, fittings, equipment, and the institutional fleet.
- Develop, implement, and monitor robust preventive maintenance schedules to minimize avoidable breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date asset registers, service histories, and comprehensive inventory records.
- Enforce strict staff adherence to facility and asset-use policies, actively investigating incidents of misuse or loss.
- Supervise external vendors, contractors, and service providers to guarantee high-quality service delivery and value for money.
- Conduct routine facility inspections, promptly logging maintenance requests and ensuring rapid close-outs.
- Manage emergency repairs efficiently while minimizing disruption to daily academic and administrative operations.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Facilities Management, Estate Management, Building Technology, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facilities or asset management, ideally within an educational or institutional setting.
- Relevant professional certifications in Facilities Management, Project Management, or Health and Safety are a strong advantage.
- Exceptional problem-solving, supervisory, negotiation, and policy-enforcement skills with high attention to detail.
