About the Role
Shuttlers is transforming the daily commute for professionals across the Lagos Metropolis through innovative shared transportation solutions. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a dedicated and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, safety, and efficiency of our head office. In this role, you will ensure our workplace runs seamlessly, vendors deliver on their commitments, operational costs are effectively controlled, and our staff enjoys a comfortable, secure, and highly productive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the upkeep of office premises, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, power infrastructure, water systems, and internet connectivity.
- Run preventive maintenance schedules and resolve facility faults promptly to minimize downtime and business disruption.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage service providers for cleaning, security, catering, fuel, repairs, and pest control, monitoring performance against SLAs.
- Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, maintain fire safety equipment, and coordinate emergency drills.
- Prepare and manage the facility budget, track expenses, process invoices accurately, and identify cost-saving energy efficiencies.
- Manage space planning, seating arrangements, office moves, inventory of general supplies, and pantry housekeeping.
- Act as the primary point of contact for staff facility requests, complaints, and visitor hosting.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in facility or office management, preferably within a fast-paced tech company or corporate environment.
- Professional certifications such as IFMA or NEBOSH will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and local safety regulations.
- Excellent vendor negotiation, contract management, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace with strong interpersonal communication skills.
