About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Facility Coordinator to oversee the smooth operation, safety, and compliance of our specialized facilities. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing petroleum depots, waste management plants, and marine service environments while ensuring strict adherence to environmental and health standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of company facilities, including petroleum depots, waste management plants, and marine service hubs.
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for heavy equipment, machinery, and critical infrastructure.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, environmental regulations, and pollution control measures.
- Coordinate the safe handling, treatment, and disposal of petroleum, industrial, medical, and domestic waste.
- Support environmental audits, impact assessments, and corporate sustainability initiatives.
- Manage facility-related logistics, including petroleum product supply chains and haulage operations.
- Supervise marine operations to guarantee full compliance with maritime safety regulations.
- Lead on-site facility staff, external contractors, and technical teams to achieve operational targets.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on facility performance, compliance metrics, and incident management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Oil and Gas facility supervision, waste management, or environmental consultancy.
- Strong working knowledge of petroleum operations, pollution control systems, and marine services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage external contractors effectively.
- Familiarity with Nigerian environmental laws, regulatory guidelines (such as DPR/NUPRC), and international HSE standards.
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
