About the Role
Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) is a prominent network of science-oriented, co-educational day and boarding schools in Nigeria. Founded in 1998 and managed by the First Surat Group, we operate over 16 branches across six states, providing top-tier education from Creche to Senior Secondary levels. We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Facility and Maintenance Personnel to help maintain our school facilities to the highest standards, ensuring the utmost safety, functionality, and comfort for our vibrant community of students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and general repairs on school buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Inspect plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems regularly and resolve issues promptly to prevent downtime.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and major facility upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inventory of tools, and replacement parts.
- Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests from boarding hostels, classrooms, and administrative offices.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all campus facilities.
- Possession of a relevant degree, diploma, or trade certification in facility management, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven professional experience in facility maintenance, preferably within an educational institution or large-scale corporate environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry works.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse school staff and management.
