About the Role
International Facilities Services Limited (IFS) is a premier international facilities management company operating across Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and the Middle East. We are currently seeking a dynamic Facilities Architect to join our innovative team in Nigeria, focusing not on new builds, but on optimizing existing spaces, generating accurate as-built drawings, and developing spatial strategies for modern facility automation and robotic cleaning paths.
Key Responsibilities- Survey and document existing built spaces to produce highly accurate as-built drawings for daily Facilities Management operations.
- Create detailed floor plans that map cleaning paths, zones, and spatial utilization for both manual operations and robot LIDAR path planning.
- Collaborate closely with the FM team to maintain up-to-date facility documentation as physical layouts evolve.
- Utilize advanced 3D modeling and AI-assisted design tools to accelerate documentation and spatial visualization.
- Design, plan, and develop concepts, 2D plans, 3D models, and technical documents for client projects, tenders, and competitive bids.
- Support business growth by contributing to bid submissions, writing proposals, and coordinating with stakeholders to secure new contracts.
- Degree in Architecture or a closely related professional qualification.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling platforms such as Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of modern AI-driven design and documentation applications.
- Exceptional spatial awareness and understanding of human traffic flow and cleaning crew logistics within built environments.
- Prior experience in facilities management, space documentation, or built-environment operations is a strong advantage.
