About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Extrusion Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing client. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production line, ensuring that our manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely to deliver top-tier PVC pipe products.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and manage extrusion machines and related production equipment to ensure optimal output.
- Set and adjust machine parameters accurately to maintain superior product quality and uniformity.
- Continuously monitor ongoing production processes to swiftly identify and rectify machine or product defects.
- Perform routine machine inspections, thorough cleaning, and basic preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ensure the consistent and proper feeding of raw materials into the extrusion line.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date production logs and machine operational records.
- Adhere strictly to production schedules and consistently achieve daily and weekly output targets.
- Ensure full compliance with all company safety guidelines, quality control protocols, and operational procedures.
- Report any machine faults, operational bottlenecks, or abnormalities promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free, and well-organized production workspace.
- Possession of an OND or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience operating extrusion machines within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated, relevant practical experience specifically working with PVC pipes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial extrusion processes and mechanical machine operations.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic machine and production line issues.
- Strong attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to product quality and workplace safety.
