About the Role
Brilliant Performance Solutions Limited is urgently recruiting a qualified and experienced External Exams Assessor in Accounting to join our esteemed client's academic evaluation team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining high educational benchmarks, ensuring that accounting examinations across polytechnics in Nigeria remain reliable, comparable, and aligned with national regulatory policies.
Key Responsibilities- Review and provide comprehensive, informative comments on whether set examination papers meet the rigorous standards required by the presiding organization.
- Evaluate the assessment process to ensure student achievement is measured fairly and rigorously against intended learning outcomes, in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Assess whether academic standards and student achievements are reliable and benchmarked effectively against other polytechnics nationwide.
- Submit annual evidence of grading records to the relevant school within agreed timelines.
- Review and update annual conflict-of-interest declarations in a timely manner.
- Must possess a PhD degree, with at least a Master's degree in Accounting or a closely related financial discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in academic assessment, curriculum evaluation, or external examining within higher education institutions.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, polytechnic education frameworks, and quality assurance processes in Nigeria.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail in evaluating grading records and assessment policies.
