About the Role
Hope Spring Community Humanitarian Initiative, a CAC-registered non-governmental organization and the Nigerian partner of UK-registered Hope Spring Water, is seeking a passionate and driven Volunteer Project and Program Manager. In this vital role, you will champion our mission to improve access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) across Nigerian communities. Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive project and program plans, defining scopes, objectives, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Oversee daily project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless WASH delivery.
- Establish robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks to track progress, measure impact, and draft detailed stakeholder reports.
- Manage project budgets efficiently, overseeing procurement processes and ensuring strict compliance with organizational policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, donors, and internal teams through clear communication.
- Lead, mentor, and support volunteer teams, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing work culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in project and program management, preferably within the NGO sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in M&E frameworks, budget monitoring, and multi-project coordination.
- Proficiency in project management tools and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and written or verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for humanitarian causes.
