About the Role
GZ Industries is West Africa’s leading aluminum can manufacturer, expanding rapidly across sub-Saharan Africa with a vision to operate a world-class manufacturing facility. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Export Officer to manage our comprehensive export operations, ensuring the seamless movement of finished goods, raw materials, and recyclable items to international markets while maintaining strict compliance with Nigerian and global trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute all export shipments via sea, air, or road freight from order receipt to final delivery.
- Prepare, process, and manage all required export documentation including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Form NXP, Certificates of Origin, and Bills of Lading.
- Ensure full compliance with regulations set by the Nigeria Customs Service, Central Bank of Nigeria, and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council.
- Coordinate cargo loading, container stuffing, and schedules with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers to minimize delays.
- Monitor export logistics costs against approved budgets and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in export logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or international trade.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian export procedures, documentation, and port operations.
