About the Role
Abuja Clinics, a leading multi-specialty healthcare provider established in 1989 with branches in Karu, Garki, and Maitama, is seeking a professional and reliable Driver to join our growing support team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth daily operations of our medical facilities by providing safe, punctual, and dependable transportation services for staff, official documents, and hospital supplies across the Federal Capital Territory.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport authorized personnel, medical supplies, and documents to designated locations within and outside Abuja.
- Maintain the assigned hospital vehicle in a clean, roadworthy, and serviceable condition at all times.
- Conduct routine daily checks on vehicle systems, including oil, water, battery, brakes, and tire pressure.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, servicing schedules, or vehicular accidents to management.
- Ensure strict adherence to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logbooks for all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification, complemented by a recognized trade test certificate.
- Possession of a valid and current Nigerian Driver's License.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate or healthcare environment.
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of Abuja roads, major routes, and traffic patterns.
- Exceptional defensive driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Good communication skills, punctuality, and a high level of personal integrity.
