About the Role
Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC) is a reputable trading firm specializing in the export of premium quality raw cocoa beans and cashew from Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Export Manager to join our growing commercial team in driving seamless export execution and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- Open and manage shipment files promptly following contract confirmation, ensuring accurate tracking from start to finish.
- Coordinate the processing of NXP forms, certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates, and inspection documentation.
- Liaise closely with the Shipping Team, clearing agents, and regulatory authorities such as Nigerian Customs and NAQS for smooth clearance.
- Track vessel bookings, cut-off dates, and container readiness to ensure strict adherence to shipping timelines.
- Coordinate the preparation, review, and dispatch of bills of lading and buyer documentation.
- Immediately escalate documentation delays, bottlenecks, or compliance issues to the Head of Business while proposing proactive mitigation strategies.
- B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, International Trade, Shipping/Logistics, or a related field.
- Professional membership in relevant bodies such as the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of proven experience in export and shipping operations, specifically managing agro-commodity export documentation.
- Strong working knowledge of Nigerian export procedures, INCOTERMS, and vessel coordination.
