About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and controlling all financial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring optimal profitability and value for money without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimize project costs and enhance value while maintaining required quality standards and contractual specifications.
  • Perform risk and value management, cost control, and develop robust responses to commercial risks.
  • Value completed work, assess contractor performance, document variation orders, and conduct monthly valuations of work in progress.
  • Prepare, adhere to, and monitor project purchasing targets, costing budgets, and site resource usage.
  • Support the Tender Preparation Team in compiling Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, schedules of work, and comprehensive contract documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-NYSC in-depth experience in quantity surveying, construction estimating, and cost management.
  • Must be a Registered Quantity Surveyor with active membership in relevant professional bodies such as NIQS and QSRBN.
  • Exceptional understanding of contract administration, procurement processes, and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to meet tight project deadlines.
