About the Role
Unified Payment Services Limited is Nigeria's premier Payments and Financial Technology company, operating as a shared infrastructure for the banking community since 1997. We are looking for a dynamic Implementation Engineer to analyze user requirements, manage e-commerce platforms, and oversee technical implementations to time, cost, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide second-level technical support for POS applications and troubleshoot payment gateway integrations.
- Lead end-to-end testing, validation, and deployment of PTSA solutions for merchant integration.
- Supervise the operation, implementation, and maintenance of the UPTSA production platform.
- Monitor terminal performance, track system downtimes to maintain 99.9% service availability, and resolve service issues.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly performance reports through data analysis.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to enhance product quality, user experience, and platform reliability.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide junior staff to help them reach their full potential on the job.
- First degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development, system integration, or application support.
- Strong understanding of key technical concepts in IT, electronic payments, and digital services.
- Programming knowledge and experience in business analysis or project management will be an added advantage.
