About the Role
Connig Technoserve is a dynamic telecommunications and information technology services provider operating in Nigeria and parts of West Africa. We provide customized, professional, and turnkey services ranging from planning to rollout and maintenance throughout the product life cycle. We are currently looking for a dedicated Telecom Team Lead to direct our field operations and ensure excellence in infrastructure deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise field engineering teams in the installation, integration, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of telecommunications network equipment.
- Provide technical leadership for Ericsson RAN, BTS, Radio, Baseband, and M-MIMO deployment activities.
- Manage the installation and integration of transmission links across Huawei Microwave, E-Band, Ericsson MINI-LINK, Aviat, and Nokia platforms.
- Conduct and supervise Technical Site Surveys (TSS), assessing site readiness, power availability, and transmission paths.
- Utilize EriTop for EHS compliance monitoring, quality audits, site inspections, and project documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE/EHS guidelines, safety protocols, and proper use of PPE across all sites.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and logistical site challenges.
- Mentor, guide, and support field technicians and riggers to maintain high productivity and quality workmanship.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on technical experience in Ericsson M-MIMO, Radio, Baseband, and BTS installation and integration.
- Extensive experience with transmission link installation across Huawei, Ericsson, Aviat, and Nokia platforms.
- Proficiency in using EriTop for EHS compliance and project quality audits.
- Strong working knowledge of Technical Site Surveys (TSS) and SRS testing procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for project tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
