About the Role
Fiphs Infrastructure Limited is a premier indigenous world-class infrastructure development company dedicated to addressing Africa's infrastructure deficit through innovative engineering solutions. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Experienced Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in our engineering operations, coordinating land surveys, analyzing geographical data, and collaborating closely with civil engineers to drive our landmark construction projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate comprehensive surveys and investigations of land surfaces for various infrastructure projects.
- Ensure highly accurate measurements of the ground, including small and large-scale distances, angles, and elevations.
- Gather, process, and analyze data on the earth's physical and man-made features using advanced digital mapping tools.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and other relevant software to interpret site features and present data.
- Prepare detailed survey maps, plans, and technical exhibits while verifying the accuracy of all measurements and calculations.
- Consult with civil and design engineers, clients, and contractors to determine precise project requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on complex surveying challenges and lead field teams to maximize productivity and maintain safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of post-NYSC hands-on land surveying experience, specifically within the road construction sector.
- Must be a Certified Registered Surveyor with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON).
- Proficient in performing complex horizontal and vertical survey calculations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and apply industry best practices.
