About the Role
Teestone Hotel & Apartments is a modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We pride ourselves on offering a stylish, comfortable, and welcoming environment for business and leisure travelers alike. We are currently seeking a courteous, reliable, and professional Experienced Hotel Porter to join our dedicated hospitality team and ensure our guests receive a warm welcome from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure with exceptional customer service.
- Assist guests with carrying, transporting, and storing luggage efficiently.
- Escort guests to their rooms while explaining hotel amenities, room features, and services.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, special requests, and deliver messages or packages to rooms.
- Maintain the cleanliness, order, and presentation of the lobby, hotel entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Provide accurate directions and information regarding local Lagos attractions, transport, and hotel facilities.
- Support the front desk and other hotel departments during peak operational hours.
- Adhere strictly to hotel safety, security, and confidentiality policies at all times.
- Minimum of an SSCE / High School Certificate or equivalent academic qualification.
- Proven previous experience working as a Hotel Porter, bellhop, or in hospitality customer service.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude with a neat and tidy personal appearance.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy luggage.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
