About the Role
Hotel Capitol, a premier three-star luxury hotel strategically located in the heart of Omole Phase 1, Lagos, is currently seeking a reliable and professional Experienced Driver to join our dedicated hospitality team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring safe, comfortable, and timely transportation for our esteemed guests and management. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of service, and we are looking for a meticulous individual who embodies professionalism, discretion, and an in-depth knowledge of Lagos routes and interstate travel.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough daily routine checks on the assigned vehicle before movement to ensure optimal mechanical condition.
- Strictly obey all traffic rules and regulations while ensuring the vehicle remains fully compliant with local traffic laws.
- Monitor and ensure all vehicle particulars and personal driving documents are current and valid at all times.
- Navigate intra-state and inter-state travels safely and efficiently, demonstrating excellent route-planning skills.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, professional conduct, and courtesy when interacting with guests and staff.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date logs of all driving activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
- Ensure the absolute safety and comfort of passengers at all times by adhering to established safety protocols.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet the dynamic operational demands of the hotel.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
- Must possess a valid and up-to-date Driver's License.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience within a structured corporate organization or the hospitality industry.
- Proficient in driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles with advanced defensive driving skills.
- Residency within the Lagos Mainland axis, specifically targeting locations such as Ogba, Akute, Ojodu Berger, Agege, Ojota, Ketu, or Magboro.
