About the Role
DP World is a leading global supply chain solutions provider, making trade flow better across the globe through our dedicated team spanning 74 countries. We are currently seeking four dynamic and results-driven Controllers for Transport Operations to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee daily fleet operations, manage logistics coordination, and ensure efficient, timely haulage services for key clients such as Nigerian Breweries, while maintaining our strict standards for health, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan efficient routes and oversee daily fleet coordination to maximize revenue and meet trip targets.
- Monitor fuel consumption, truck productivity, and fleet utilization using platforms like EDD, Instanta, and i-manager.
- Ensure compliance with speed limits, safety protocols, and PPE requirements through pre- and post-trip briefings and toolbox meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of truck documentation, service mileage, tonnage capacity, and Proof of Delivery (POD) collections.
- Handle incident, accident, and insurance documentation promptly to minimize fleet downtime.
- Liaise closely with clients, field officers, and the HSE department to resolve operational and safety issues effectively.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Sciences or Social Sciences with not less than a Second Class Lower / Lower Credit.
- Professional certifications such as CLTD, CILT, or CSCP are highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, 3PL management, fleet operations, and driver management.
