About the Role
Mase Contractors is a reputable engineering consulting and civil engineering construction enterprise known for excellence and dedication. We are currently looking for a professional Company Driver to support our daily operations in Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our team arrives at project sites safely, punctually, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Transport company staff, clients, and materials safely to various destinations, including project sites and corporate meetings.
- Navigate Lagos routes and surrounding areas expertly using both local knowledge and navigation apps like Google Maps.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and minor troubleshooting to ensure the assigned vehicle is roadworthy at all times.
- Maintain accurate logs of all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is kept clean, secure, and properly serviced according to company schedules.
- Adhere strictly to Nigerian traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Perform occasional errand runs and support logistical tasks as assigned by management.
- Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent educational qualification.
- Valid Nigerian driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle class.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within the construction or corporate sector.
- Extensive knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic patterns, and surrounding areas.
- Proficiency in using GPS and navigation applications such as Google Maps.
- Exceptional honesty, punctuality, strong communication skills, and a responsible attitude.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting, and prompt reporting of mechanical faults.
