In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our financial operations, ensuring stringent internal controls, and supporting our ongoing business growth within the fast-paced commercial sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily financial operations.
- Prepare comprehensive and timely financial reports for management decision-making.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain meticulous financial record keeping.
- Strengthen and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Oversee proactive debt monitoring and recovery processes to maintain a healthy cash flow.
- Drive and support accounting process automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Minimum of 4 years of continuous, hands-on accounting experience.
- Prior working experience in FMCG, Distribution, Wholesale, or Retail industries is strictly required.
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven leadership and team management experience with the ability to guide staff.
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel and industry-standard accounting software.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACA, or ACCA will be considered a strong added advantage.
