About the Role
Technology for Social Change and Development Initiative (Tech4Dev) is a social enterprise that creates decent work using technology for sustainable development, bridging the gap of unskilled labor and preparing people for the future of work. We are currently looking for a professional and dedicated Executive Driver to join our dynamic team and support our daily operational logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport executives, staff, and official visitors to designated destinations in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain the assigned company vehicle in a clean, pristine, and roadworthy condition at all times.
- Conduct routine daily checks on vehicle systems, including engine oil, water, battery, brakes, and tire pressure.
- Plan efficient travel routes while staying updated on traffic patterns, road closures, and security advisories across Nigeria.
- Ensure all vehicle documentation, including insurance, vehicle licenses, and maintenance logs, are up to date.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Perform minor routine maintenance and promptly report any major mechanical faults to management.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent educational qualification.
- Valid and current professional driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven professional driving experience as an executive or corporate driver, preferably within the non-profit or technology sector.
- Exceptional knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and major routes in Nigeria.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent personal grooming, and a high sense of punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings when required.
