About the Role
Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is seeking a high-performing Executive Assistant to the Group Managing Director (GMD) at our operational headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical C-suite role, you will provide comprehensive administrative, strategic, and operational support, serving as a trusted liaison between the GMD and key internal and external stakeholders to drive organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the GMD's complex calendar, including executive engagements, Management Performance Reviews (MPR), and stakeholder meetings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling correspondence and screening executive communications.
- Coordinate logistics, documentations, and detailed meeting minutes for high-level committee sessions and track actionable items.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, executive summaries, reports, and meeting packs using advanced productivity tools.
- Organize seamless travel arrangements, itineraries, and manage daily administrative expenses and reporting.
- Supervise clerical staff, manage office supplies, and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems.
- Represent the GMD in professional meetings and support the execution of strategic corporate initiatives and special projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field (an MBA or professional certification is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting top C-suite executives in a large enterprise.
- Strong background within manufacturing, conglomerate, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with absolute discretion, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
