About the Role

Slum2School Africa is a leading volunteer-driven developmental organization founded in 2012, dedicated to transforming society by empowering disadvantaged children in slums and indigent communities to realize their full potential. We provide educational scholarships, create innovative learning spaces, and offer holistic psychosocial support. We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to our Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Executive Director's complex calendar, schedule appointments, coordinate travel plans, and handle meeting logistics efficiently.
  • Screen, prioritize, and manage incoming emails, phone calls, and other high-level communications with professionalism.
  • Prepare comprehensive briefing materials, meeting agendas, detailed minutes, and actionable follow-ups.
  • Draft professional executive correspondence, compelling presentations, and strategic reports as required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, handling sensitive organizational and donor information with utmost discretion.
  • Organize and maintain both digital and physical filing systems for the Executive Director's office.
  • Liaise effectively with key partners, board members, donors, volunteers, and internal department leads.
  • Conduct research, gather data, and provide analytical support to facilitate informed executive decision-making.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in an executive support or administrative role, preferably within the non-profit or development sector in Nigeria.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, virtual collaboration tools, and project management software.
  • Superior organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
