About the Role

Hive is an innovative employee feedback platform and strategic HR partnership dedicated to helping companies manage change and amplify employee voice through a blend of accessible cloud-based technology and expert coaching. We are currently seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant to serve as the operational backbone for our Founders in Nigeria. In this role, you will own complex calendar management, coordinate high-stakes meetings, and handle sensitive business matters with absolute confidentiality. You will act as a crucial force multiplier, keeping our leadership team focused on scaling our operations and driving meaningful impact across the African tech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the Founders' calendars end-to-end, strategically prioritizing meetings, focus time, and personal appointments while managing last-minute changes across multiple time zones.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take comprehensive minutes, and track follow-up actions to ensure seamless communication between internal teams and external stakeholders including investors and partners.
  • Handle special projects that extend beyond traditional administrative responsibilities, such as in-depth research, document preparation, and cross-functional task coordination.
  • Facilitate prompt, clear, and professional communication between executive leadership and all organizational levels, acting as a reliable gatekeeper and brand ambassador.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience supporting C-level executives or founders, preferably within a fast-paced startup or technology environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage complex, shifting priorities under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with uncompromised discretion and sound professional judgment.
  • Proficiency in modern productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, and Slack, alongside a strong willingness to leverage AI tools for workflow automation.
  • A proactive self-starter mindset with the ability to anticipate needs before they arise and thrive in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.
