About the Role
Brilliant Performance Solutions Limited is currently recruiting a qualified and dedicated External Assessor in Banking and Finance for our esteemed client. This role is crucial in upholding academic excellence, maintaining rigorous standards, and ensuring fair assessment processes within the tertiary education sector in Nigeria. We are looking for an academic expert based in Lagos who can provide objective, high-level evaluations and constructive recommendations on examination papers and student achievements.
Key Responsibilities- Review and provide informative comments and recommendations to ensure examination papers meet the required standards of the presiding organization.
- Evaluate the assessment process to ensure it measures student achievement rigorously and fairly against intended learning outcomes in line with relevant policies.
- Assess whether academic standards and student achievements are reliable and comparable to other polytechnics across the country.
- Submit annual evidence of grading records to the relevant school within agreed timelines.
- Review and update annual conflict-of-interest declarations within the stipulated deadlines.
- Must possess a PhD Degree, with a foundational Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance.
- A minimum of five years of relevant lecturing and academic assessment experience.
- Must be currently resident in Lagos, Nigeria.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of banking and finance curricula and educational assessment frameworks.
