Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counseling to students regarding academic challenges, personal development, and social skills.
- Develop and implement comprehensive guidance programs tailored to different age groups within the school.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school administrators, and parents to identify and address students' behavioral or learning needs.
- Assist students with career exploration, university preparation, and subject selection based on their strengths and interests.
- Organize workshops and seminars on relevant topics such as peer pressure, time management, study skills, and mental health awareness.
- Maintain confidential student records and monitor academic and behavioral progress over time.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Guidance Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience working as a Guidance Counsellor in a reputable primary or secondary school.
- Exceptional interpersonal, active listening, and communication skills with the ability to build trust with students and parents.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent psychology, educational frameworks, and behavioral management strategies.
- Valid certification or licensure from a recognized professional counseling body is an added advantage.
