About the Role
Akiavic Blue Roof Hotel, a prestigious family-run boutique hotel located at 237 Brigadier Ademulegun Road in Ondo City, Ondo State, is looking for a dynamic and organized Event Coordinator to join our growing hospitality team. In this role, you will be the creative and logistical force behind our weddings, corporate functions, private parties, and conferences, ensuring every detail exceeds our clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, manage, and execute various social and corporate events hosted at the hotel.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with internal departments including catering, housekeeping, and front desk to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage event timelines, vendor relationships, and on-site logistics to resolve any issues promptly.
- Oversee setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all aesthetic and safety standards are met.
- Proven experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field within Nigeria.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills for dealing with diverse clients and vendors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, depending on event schedules.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
