About the Role

Dangote Group, one of Africa's most diversified and leading business conglomerates, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Estate Officer to join our dynamic Administration Department in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the effective administration, maintenance, and operational management of our assigned estates, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-managed living environment for all occupants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate planned and corrective maintenance activities to ensure prompt resolution of service requests within approved timelines.
  • Conduct routine inspections of estate facilities, infrastructure, buildings, roads, and drainage systems to identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
  • Supervise contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with approved contracts, service standards, and safety guidelines.
  • Manage utility services including electricity and water supply, tracking consumption patterns and coordinating prompt repairs for any disruptions.
  • Receive, document, and resolve resident complaints and service requests efficiently while maintaining accurate log reports.
  • Promote Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across the estate, conducting safety inspections and reporting potential hazards.
  • Monitor rent payments, service charges, utility bill collections, lease expiry dates, and initiate timely tenancy renewals.
  • Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly operational, maintenance, and inspection reports for management review.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Estate Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in estate management, property management, or facility administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of maintenance operations, vendor management, and HSE compliance standards.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed operational reports and maintaining accurate administrative records.
