About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and oilfield support services in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Escort Security Coordinator to join our team in managing security escort operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for implementing security plans, supervising escort personnel, and ensuring the safety of personnel and assets across high-risk, volatile environments within our host communities.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and exercise the OML58 Security Escort plan and standard operating procedures across the area of responsibility.
- Supervise security escort personnel, drivers, and detailing clerks, providing instructions and continuous follow-up during operations.
- Monitor personnel movements, coordinate escort teams between project sites, and manage shuttle escorts and special travel plans for senior staff.
- Ensure strict compliance with Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) during all escort operations.
- Maintain escort task databases, daily activity logs, and incident reporting formats to facilitate resource allocation and strategic oversight.
- Manage the maintenance and operational readiness of all security systems and communication equipment on board escort vehicles.
- Collect, collate, and disseminate timely situation reports regarding host community activities to relevant company staff.
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven professional experience in industrial security management within the oil and gas sector.
- Prior background in military or police services will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of local community relations and operating within complex, volatile onshore environments.
