About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Enterprise Risk Management Officer to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, ensuring robust operational, financial, and strategic risk controls.
Key Responsibilities- Support enterprise-wide risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting across all business units.
- Maintain and update comprehensive risk registers, risk dashboards, and organizational risk profiles.
- Track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and monitor emerging risks to protect business assets.
- Conduct thorough operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic risk assessments.
- Prepare periodic risk reports and actionable management insights for decision-making.
- Support the implementation of risk policies, frameworks, procedures, and business continuity plans.
- Facilitate risk awareness initiatives to foster a strong risk management culture across the organization.
- Monitor compliance with approved risk appetite and follow up on corrective action implementation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of proven experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Control, Audit, Compliance, or Risk Advisory within the financial services sector.
- Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CISA, or related risk credentials will be an added advantage.
- Strong expertise in regulatory compliance, governance, internal controls, and data analytics applications.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and risk management tools.
