About the Role
Eritoy International Schools, a Christian Nursery and Primary School founded in 2002, is seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher to join our esteemed team in Abule-Egba. We are dedicated to providing a solid academic and spiritual foundation for our pupils using the Montessori method and godly principles. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional expertise in teaching English Language, specifically focusing on grammar, phonics, reading, comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, writing, and oral pronunciation, ensuring our students develop lifelong literacy and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, child-friendly English Language lessons covering grammar, phonics, reading, writing, and comprehension.
- Foster strong reading, writing, and oral communication skills while building pupils' confidence.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted academic support for learners with diverse abilities.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and effective classroom management environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and uphold professional conduct at all times.
- HND or B.Sc. in English, English Education, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience, preferably within a primary school setting.
- Strong, demonstrable expertise in English Grammar and Phonics.
- Excellent spoken and written English with impeccable pronunciation and communication skills.
