About the Role

Slum2School Africa is a leading volunteer-driven developmental organization dedicated to transforming society by empowering disadvantaged children in slums and indigent communities with quality education, learning spaces, and comprehensive psychosocial support. We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and strategic support to our Executive Director. In this pivotal role, you will manage complex schedules, facilitate strategic stakeholder engagements, streamline communications, and ensure the Executive Director's office operates with maximum efficiency to drive our mission forward across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Executive Director's calendar, appointments, international and domestic travel plans, and high-level meeting logistics.
  • Screen, prioritize, and manage all incoming correspondence, emails, and phone calls with absolute discretion and professionalism.
  • Prepare comprehensive briefing materials, meeting agendas, accurate minutes, and actionable follow-ups for internal and external engagements.
  • Draft high-level executive correspondence, impactful presentations, and detailed organizational reports as required.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems while tracking project deadlines and strategic organizational deliverables.
  • Liaise effectively with key partners, board members, donors, volunteers, and diverse community stakeholders.
  • Provide critical research, data analysis, and operational support to facilitate informed executive decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience in an executive support role, preferably within a non-profit or international development sector.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, virtual collaboration platforms, and modern project management tools.
  • Demonstrated high emotional intelligence, absolute discretion in handling confidential information, and stellar interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the capacity to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment.
