As an English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in developing students' language skills, critical thinking, and appreciation for literature within a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging English lessons aligned with WAEC, IGCSE, Cambridge Checkpoint, and JAMB curricula
- Plan and execute comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress through examinations, assignments, and continuous evaluation
- Foster a classroom culture that promotes academic rigor and personal development
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain institutional standards and support school initiatives
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and development
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc. or B.Ed.) in English or a related discipline
- Demonstrated mastery of WAEC, IGCSE, Cambridge Checkpoint, and JAMB examination systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional conduct and commitment to Christian values
- International school teaching experience preferred
