About the Role
Learners Crest Schools is a reputable, private co-educational institution located in Baale Ajuwon, Ogun State, near the vibrant Ojodu Berger and Iju axis of Lagos. Since our establishment in 2021, we have remained committed to delivering excellence across our Early Years, Primary, and Secondary sections. We are currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and qualified English Teacher to join our growing team of academic professionals and foster a deep appreciation for language and literature among our students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, well-structured English Language and Literature lessons aligned with the approved curriculum.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Create an inclusive, stimulating, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and evaluation assessments in a timely manner.
- Participate in school-wide extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Maintain open and professional communication with parents and guardians regarding student development.
- Possession of an HND, B.Sc, or B.Ed in English Education, English Language, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience in a recognized primary or secondary school setting will be considered a strong added advantage.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching, patience, and strong classroom management abilities.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs within a co-educational environment.
